A PCOD needle is a specialized tool used to treat Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). It’s used during laparoscopic procedures to drill the polycystic ovaries. The needle is inserted as perpendicularly as possible to the ovarian surface. 

The needle is used to puncture and drain cysts on the ovary.
